hidrd software package provides tools for parsing and generating HID report descriptors, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install hidrd
hidrd is installed in your system.
Make ensure the hidrd package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep hidrd *
You will get with hidrd package name, version, architecture and description in a table
